The B2B is a powerful, efficient, bidirectional battery coupling system that provides a rapid, cost effective, easy to implement Li-Ion energy storage solutions. The B2B enhances and simplifies both existing and new energy storage applications. The B2B facilitates the addition of advanced energy storage without the cost, time and risk commonly experienced with lithium battery conversions.
The B2B minimizes or eliminates discharge and cycling of the existing battery by enabling it to remain fully charged until the lithium battery is depleted. In the case of a lead vehicle starter battery, this results in better mission readiness, longer service life, reduced logistical support and fewer batteries purchased.
In many applications, the B2B can even be used without an existing battery. The original battery may be completely removed or just downsized. B2B will provide all the required power and also charge and manage it's attached hi-tech battery while still appearing to be a lead-acid battery to the existing system.
